It was indeed a sad day in AGEGE Political family and AGEGE as a Local Government at large. You would have cried out your heart today when the remains of Ambassador Tunde Alao, the immediate past Sole Administrator of Apapa Local Government Area, Coordinator for YAYI campaign group in AGEGE LGA., during the last APC Primary Election and aide to the present Commissioner for Water Front Infrastructure development, Hon. Babatunde Samuel Adejare, were committed to mother earth at his house in Soore Close, ORILE-AGEGE LCDA.
Amidst the funeral ambience, tributes poured in torrents from family members, friends, government officials and politicians who had come to pay their last respects to Late Tunde Alao, who passed on at the early hours of today during a brief illness.
The AGEGE APC Leader and former Council Boss was celebrated even in death with sweet and kind words during the burial. In fact, if only the dead could look back, the former Council Boss would be grinning in his grave now, an attendee said.
In her tribute, his wife described him as someone who deserves a prize for decency, courtesy, fairness and exceptional kindness. She said, she couldn’t have asked for a better husband, as kind, bold and a courageous man, who was willing to yield himself to almighty Allah, to be used as a perfect example of what a Godly marriage should be.
Before the final journey, In attendance are many personalities across the State and Country, including Senator Olamilekan Adeola Solomon also known as #YAYI representing Lagos West Senatorial District and other top Agege Political Associates were present to pay their last respect…
