The Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mudasiru OBASA has expressed his appreciation to the Lagos Public Primary School teachers for their active participation in the last Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in Lagos, while Speaking through his Special adviser on Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Otunba Richard Akin Oshungboye at the ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL HEAD TEACHERS STATE WING EXECUTIVE MEETING held in Agege at the Local Government Education Authority, Agege Lgea Agege Secreteriat.
He said, ” Your active Participation and the role played by teachers can not go unnoticed because it also contributed greatly to the Victory recorded by the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State.
” I must also commend all Headteachers in Lagos State, because in the past few years the Standard of Public Primary School Education has improved, this is a fact i can attest to and i know it’s as a result of your Commitment and passion for the job you are doing, he said”
“As a Product of a Public Primary School in Mushin during the 60s, the changes are visible and are commendable, in view of this and many more that you have done to give Basic Education a facelift in Lagos State, myself and my other colleagues both newly elected and returned says a BIG THANK YOU, he reiterated.”
“We are also aware that some of the teachers who resides far away to where their Polling Unit is located slept in classrooms at the eve of the election in order to cast their Votes for the APC- All Proressives Congress Party, i am using this medium to assure you that at a Proper time we will come to make our appreciation official, but i must say here that we appreciate all your support and love towards the Political class in Lagos State and Agege in Particular, Oshungboye said.”
Hon. Oshungboye, while rounding up his Goodwill message specially thanked the Education Secretary of Local Government Education Authority, Agege, Hon. Olalekan Olatunde Majiyagbe for his doggedness, active role and unflinching Support for all the APC Candidates in Lagos State and Agege in Particular.
He also applauds his Passion for the development of basic education, his ideas, trainings, teachings and various human and educational activities geared towards Improving the Standard of Public Primary School education.
“You have all indeed make Public Primary School education attractive in the State, my advice to you is not to relent on your efforts, but to Continue to offer your best, he concluded.”
