An Agege APC Chieftain has reacted to the list of Lagos State Houses of Assembly Candidates names
released by INEC Yesterday, where his name appeared as a candidate for the Accord Party in Agege Constituency 02.
..I am not an ACCORD PARTY member or candidate.
…My records were falsified, for my name to have appeared as the Candidate for Accord Party Agege Constituency 02 on the INEC list. – Ab Aileru Hon. Abeeb Aileru “Bibire”
…threatens to take legal actions against the Party and Inec.
I have no knowledge of the list recently released by the Nigeria election umpire #INEC where my name appeared as the Candidate for Agege Constituency 02 under the Accord Political Party.
“I, Abeeb Aileru, am a bonafide and committed member of our great Party APC, I have never at anytime defected or decamped to any other Political Party in Agege. I have for years remain with our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu whose mandate I stood on.
“I have always stood by the Leadership of our great party, also at the Local Government level in Agege LGA., so i see no reason why my name should appear in the list released by INEC, where my name was listed as Agege Accord Political Party Candidate for Constituency 02, when I have not made entry of my personal data or have any formal appearance with either INEC or Accord Party. I have never attended their Political Party Meetings, never, he said.
The former Oriade Lcda Council boss and current Coordinator of Babajide Sanwo-olu FOOTSOLDIERS CAMPAIGN GROUP, further expressed his displeasure over the list of names of Candidates released by INEC running for the Agege Constituency 02 in the forthcoming general elections and vows to take necessary actions against the development, because it’s absurd and uncalled for.
In a telephone chat with Agegetv Agege shortly after the list of names were published on the INEC official website, where his name appeared as the Candidate for AGEGE ACCORD PARTY, Agege Constituency 02, he said “I am not a member of Accord Political Party in Agege, I have never submitted my records with them, purchased an expression of Interest or nomination form to run under their political party.
” He described the outcome as the work of mischief makers trying to dent my image and drag my name into what I am not part of, he reiterated. ”
He therefore stated categorically, by making some salient points on the development, which he said must be brought to the notice of the general Public, they are as follows…
* One Sunday Ajayi and Accord party falsify my records with the inec by placing my name on accord ticket for Agege 02.
* One Akinola Toyin is their candidate and not me.
* I had earlier issued a warning against falsification of my records.
* I am filling a criminal lawsuit against Sunday Ajayi and inec for accepting a form without my consent.
* I have not for once be a part of accord, never attended their meetings nor rally.
* it’s obvious that they’re desperate and mischievous and their desperation will cost them a lot.
