Some residents of #DAROCHA, #COWLANE AND #SANGO AGEGE Communities had on behalf of other residents appreciate and lauds the efforts of your number 1, most popular, most sought after, most viewed, most engaging and interactive Online Community media #AGEGETVONLINE for the role played towards the Swift and Financial Intervention of Agege APC and Serving Political office holders to bring a permanent solution to the lingering and prolonged Power Outage suffered by members of the Communities for a very long period.
A Publication was made recently on this platform where members of the community sent out a #SAVEOURSOUL MESSAGE to appropriate authorities, where they also threatened not to Participate in the forthcoming General Election in Agege if nothing is done to rescue them from the Problem.
It’s important to also state that members of the communities have been making frantic efforts too, to resolve the power problem with the IKEJA ELECTRIC Management, with the support and committed effort of the Honourable Councillor representing WARD F, Hon. #Anigbajumo #Akolawole who is also the Leader of Agege Local Government Legislative Arm.
He took it upon himself also to facilitate the move which resulted to an Open House Community Meeting that saw some of the serving Political office holders and appointees deliberating on the best possible ways to resolve the problem.
During the deliberation it was gathered by our reporter that part of the major cause of the Power Outage was an accumulated debt owed by the Communities and a faulty transformer where it was earlier agreed by members of the Communities and Power Company that the accumulated debt of about N6million must be cleared before Power can return to their Communities.
Agegetv Online, reliably gathered that the Community members have succeeded in making a part payment of N3.5million in the past before the last meeting.
At the recent meeting held in
one of the Communities, COWLANE Street to be precise which also have in attendance Management Staffs of IKEJA ELECTRIC, some Serving Political Office holders, appointees and members of the Communities.
A total sum of “Two Million Naira Cash ( N2,000,000) was donated by them, the politicians to clear the Outstanding balance and a new transformer be brought to replace the faulty transformer.
In attendance, Hon. Yinka Ogundimu: Hon. Member representing Agege Constituency 02 at the Lagos State house of Assembly, Hon. Commissioner for Water front Infrastructure development: Dr Babatunde Samuel Adejare, Hon. Abdulganiyu Egunjobi: Executive Chairman Agege Local Government and his Vice, Hon. Abiodun Ogunji, Otunba Richard Akin Oshungboye, Hon. Akolawole Anigbajumo, leader Agege LGA. Council, Community leaders and Management Staffs of IKEJA ELECTRIC.
The over joyous Community members could not hide their Joy as they appreciate the political office holders for coming to their aid.
Some members where also seen thanking Agegetv Online for it’s media coverage and for making the issue public which made it easy to get to the attention of the Stakeholders, while others took to the internet to also show forth their appreciation.
