Freedom Found is a Nigeria based Non Governmental Organization saddled with the responsibility of empowering youths and impacting Communities in Lagos Positively with Life Transforming Programs with a special focus on the Youths.
While Speaking with Agegetv Agege the Chief Organizer said, ” Freedom Foundation has been in Existence for over 12 years. In 2017, we started partnering with ACT Foundation who are the main sponsor of our program aimed at training young men and women who are unemployed or underemployed in skills which can make them self-reliant individuals in various communities.
We achieve this by working in identified Local Government Areas and run a minimum of 14 weeks skill acquisition programs per community. Surulere LGA. and Eti Osa LGA. benefitted last year and in the early part of 2018.
In #Agege, we will be providing youths with trainings such as Barbing, Hairdressing, Computer training, Photography, Shoe making, Makeup, Jewelry & clothing. Over 150 youths have registered and the qualified beneficiaries have been invited for this event to kick start the project in Agege LGA. So the event is an Open community event holding on Tuesday to officially commence the community based project, having the leaders in Agege meet with the selected beneficiaries of the project, the funders of the project and we the implementing partners.
This is a clarion call to community building and we strongly believe this will go a long to reduce the number of unemployed youths within and outside of AGEGE LGA.
