AN ALLEGED KIDNAPER WAS CAUGHT TODAY IN ORILE-AGEGE LAGOS NIGERIA, WAS ALMOST KILLED BUT PREVENTED BY HON. Councillor Ibrahim OBANLA representing WARD C-ORILE AGEGE.
An Unknown Man was caught today in Orile-AGEGE wearing 3 different cloths together with a black Toy Gun, 2 different ID CARDS, a YAM&BREAD in a black Sack.
The little boy he was alleged to have kidnapped was rescued from a BIG Sack where he kept him. Residents of the Street named “OSHODI STREET” in Orile-AGEGE, Lagos State were alerted by passers-by when they noticed the suspicious movement of the alleged kidnapper. He was searched and all the above listed items were found in his Custody including the kidnapped boy in a BIG Sack.
The aggrieved residents almost took the law into their hands as they started throwing Stones at him, hitting him with clubs and different dangerous weapons with the aim of lynching him to death.
But it took the quick and timely intervention of the Newly elected Hon. Councillor representing the Community, Hon. Ibrahim OBANLA as he came to the rescue of the suspect and prevented the people from killing the suspected kidnapper. The honourable Councillor too was slightly injured while he was preventing the people from serving the suspect with JUNGLE JUSTICE.
He immediately alerted AGEGE ABATTOIR POLICE STATION and the suspect was handed over to the Police Officers who arrived the Venue quickly.
While speaking with AGEGE TELEVISION ONLINE via the phone, Hon. OBANLA implored the people of the Community to be Calm and collected he assured them that the Nigeria Police force will do the needful and Justice will be served according to the Law. He advised the people of ORILE-AGEGE, especially residents of his community to desist from any form of Violence and JUNGLE JUSTICE.
The little boy was latter handed over to his mother and taken away. The incident occurred at Oshodi Street, Orile-AGEGE Lagos Nigeria.
Hon. OBANLA went further to implore the people of his Community to be security conscious and admonish them to report any suspicious movement or strange faces to the Police instead of taking the laws into their hands.
